Channel Launch and Early Growth (2015–2018)
Høegh launched his YouTube channel on September 25, 2015. He created his Twitch channel on October 11, 2016. In those early years, he built his audience through gaming content before Apex Legends made him a recognisable name in the competitive scene.
His community grew steadily. By early 2019, he had accumulated over 100,000 Twitch followers.
The 2019 Peak: 29,280 Viewers (July 12, 2019)
Apex Legends launched in February 2019 and immediately dominated Twitch. Høegh was among the streamers who rode that wave directly.

The Apex Legends Permaban (January 2023)
On January 3, 2023, taxi2g received a Twitch ban that ran for 21 hours. Separately, Respawn Entertainment issued a permanent ban from Apex Legends on January 12, 2023, citing cheating. EA confirmed the account had been flagged for using the “ult dash” bug — a movement exploit that allowed legends with throwable ultimates to gain a speed boost by pressing the ultimate key, then quickly pressing melee and swapping weapons.
The ban sparked immediate debate. Professional Apex Legends player Gnaske publicly demanded taxi2g be “freed,” pointing out that other players had used the same bug without consequence. The Apex Legends community widely argued that Respawn should have patched the exploit rather than banned a streamer for using it on stream.
Respawn subsequently unbanned Høegh after a manual review confirmed the enforcement was inconsistent. The “ult dash” and punch-boosting were later formally listed as prohibited exploits in official ALGS rules — a direct consequence of the controversy his ban created.
Current Activity (2026)
As of October 2026, taxi2g is ranked #2,170 overall on Twitch and #984 among English-language channels. His current active subscriber count sits at 275, with 7,216 all-time highest active subscribers.
He streams Apex Legends, League of Legends, and Abiotic Factor. In the last recorded 30-day window, he streamed for 35 hours and 50 minutes — averaging nearly 9 hours per streaming day — and drew 572 average viewers with a peak of 1,422.
