Who Is Kaia Faith Calaway?

Kaia Faith Calaway was born on August 29, 2012, in Austin, Texas. She is the daughter of Mark William Calaway — known worldwide as The Undertaker — and Michelle Leigh Calaway, formerly Michelle McCool. Her father spent 30 years in WWE before retiring on November 22, 2020. Her mother is a two-time WWE Divas Champion and a two-time WWE Women’s Champion who retired from in-ring competition on May 1, 2011.

She is the youngest of Mark Calaway’s five children and the only child he shares with Michelle McCool.

McCool and The Undertaker dated for a while before tying the knot in June 2010. Two years later, in August 2012, they welcomed their daughter, Kaia Faith Calaway.

WWE Career (1990–2020)

Mark William Calaway was born on March 24, 1965, in Houston, Texas. He started his wrestling career in 1984 under various ring names, but it wasn’t until he joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1990 that he became The Undertaker.

Over three decades in WWE, The Undertaker accumulated four WWE Championship reigns and three World Heavyweight Championship reigns. For the better part of his career, The Undertaker was observed as a focal point of WWE’s flagship annual event, WrestleMania, where he became esteemed for The Streak — a series of 21 straight victories.

The Undertaker officially retired from professional wrestling in 2020. His final farewell took place at that year’s Survivor Series event, 30 years to the day from his WWE debut. In 2022, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

From Palatka, Florida, to WWE Champion

Michelle McCool was born on January 25, 1980, in Palatka, Florida. She worked as a middle school teacher in Palatka before pursuing a career in professional wrestling. Michelle McCool made her WWE debut in 2004 as a contestant on the reality competition show “WWE Diva Search.”

A month later at The Bash, McCool defeated Melina — with help from Alicia Fox — to win her first Women’s Championship. With her win, McCool became the first Diva to have won both the WWE Divas and Women’s championships.
