Darren Jason Watkins Jr., better known as IShowSpeed or simply Speed, is an American YouTuber, online streamer, rapper, and internet personality. He is regarded as one of the most popular online streamers and internet personalities in the world.

Rolling Loud Portugal (2023)

FIFA then called Speed directly and asked him to perform “World Cup (Champions)” at the 2026 World Cup closing ceremony.

On July 19, 2026, IShowSpeed walked onto the field at MetLife Stadium to open the FIFA World Cup 2026 closing ceremony. He made history as the first streamer ever to perform at a World Cup event. He performed in front of 82,000 fans in the stadium and hundreds of millions watching worldwide. He performed alongside Tom Cruise, Robbie Williams, Post Malone, Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, and Jennifer Hudson.

WWE Career: From Fan to Ring Competitor

Speed has always been unpredictable. Joining the WWE was perhaps his most unexpected move yet.

At WrestleMania 40, Logan Paul defeated Randy Orton and Kevin Owens with help from IShowSpeed. That cameo ignited a full-blown WWE journey.
