Asa Ando is a Japanese alpine ski racer who is known for her participation in the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games and Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

Early Life:
Asa Ando’s nickname is Ski Tornado and currently, she resides at Otaru Hokkaido.
Career Highlights:
Asa Ando debuted her alpine ski career in the Giant slalom held on October 25, 2014, in Sölden, Tyrol, Austria although she finished in the 32nd position and failed to qualify for the second run.
In the 2017 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, she participated for Japan which was held in in St. Moritz, Switzerland.
Also on February 16, 2017, in Giant Slalom, she finished 35th and failed to finish the first run.
During Asian Winter Games Day 8 which was held in Sapporo, Japan on February 25, 2017, she won silver alongside Kang Young-seo from South Korea with bronze and Emi Hasegawa from Japan with gold.
Asa then competed at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Women’s Slalom where she did not finish.
In the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics in Women’s Giant Slalom where she was in 24th position and in Women’s Slalom where she did not finish.

Asa Ando posted her niece’s photo on her Instagram in February 2022.
She uses the ski and boots from Atomic Skis company.
