Alex Ferns is a Scottish Actor who has played in several movies and has also made TV appearances best known for his role in EastEnders as Trevor Morgan from 2000 to 2001.

Early Life:

Alex Ferns spent his childhood in Lnnoxtown which is near Glasgow. At the age of 12, his family moved to South Africa and went on to live in the middle of Northern Transvaal.

Career Highlights:

Alex Ferns made his debut appearance in  The Ghost and the Darkness (1996) which was a success and went on to play Trevor Morgan in the BBC soap opera EastEnders for which he was awarded with British Soap Award for Best Newcomer. Similarly, he has also played in the movie  Joyeux Noël which was nominated for Best Foreign Language at the Oscars. He has worked in 10 movies as of 2022.

The recent role he has played as Commissioner Pete Savage in the movie The Batman has received huge recognition. Along with movies, Alex has appeared in several TV shows. He played the main role in EastEnders which aired for almost 3 years and had a total of 112 episodes.

Personal Life and Relationships:

Alex Ferns was born to his father Andy Stewart who was an electrician and his mother Janet Paisley.

He completed his education in Africa. Furthermore, he enrolled in Cape Town University to study drama. He lived in Northern Transvaal for 17 years and later moved to the United Kingdom.

Alex has been married to Jennifer Woodburne since 1996. Jennifer is a South African-born Actress. Ferns and Woodburne got married when Frens was living in Africa. They moved to Britain together to pursue their acting career. They have been married to each other for 26 years as of 2022 and currently live in London with their two children.
