Martin Kemp
Martin John Kemp is an English actor, musician, and director who is most known for playing Steve Owen in the television series EastEnders and for playing the bass in the new wave band Spandau Ballet.

Early Life:
Martin Kemp was born in Highbury, London, United Kingdom.
Career Highlights:
Martin Kemp and his brother Gary got back into acting in 1990. They both starred in the British movie The Krays as infamous mobster twins Ronald and Reginald Kray. The reviews of their performances were overwhelmingly positive.
Martin Kemp relocated to Los Angeles in the early 1990s after leaving The Krays and made cameos in shows including The Outer Limits and Highlander: The Series.
Additionally, he had appearances in several Hollywood productions, such as “Waxwork II: Lost in Time” in 1992 and “Embrace of the Vampire” in 199).
Kemp returned to the UK in 1995 and took a brief leave from acting as he suffered from brain tumors.
When he made a debut in the ITV police drama series The Bill in 1998, he began acting again. He later rose to fame for his portrayal of the evil Steve Owen in the acclaimed BBC serial series EastEnders, which debuted in December 1998.
Kemp was confirmed as the twelfth celebrity to take part in Celebrity Big Brother’s 2012 summer season. He participated in the finale and finished third on September 7, 2012.
Kemp and his wife Martin Shirlie released their debut album, In the Swing of It, through Sony Music in November 2019.
He was also a member of the Spandau Ballet band as bassist with Tony Hadley, Gary Kemp, John Keeble, Steve Norman, and Ross William Wild as other members.

Martin Kemp’s father’s name is Frank Kemp and his mother’s name is Eillen Kemp. He also has an older brother named Gary Kemp.
He was raised in North London and Central Foundation Boys’ School is the school which was attended by Martin. Kemp started an apprenticeship in a print mill after finishing high school at 16 but quickly lost interest.
Martin is married to Shirlie Kemp and their relationship began in 1987. They have a daughter named Harley Moon born in 1989 and a son named Roman born in 1994
