Oracene Price’s father Albert Price was an automotive worker from the Mississippi Delta and her mother is Ora-Lee Price.
She graduated from Buena Vista High School in 1970 and went on to attend Western Michigan University. She hasn’t shared detailed information on her education.
Oracene was married to Yusef Rasheed and were together until he died in 1979 due to a heart stroke. They had three children named, Yetunde Price, Lyndrea Price, and Isha Price.
After Yusef’s death, Oracene got married to Richard Williams in 1980, to give a better life to her three little daughters. They had two daughters, Venus and Serena. By the end of 2000, Price was no longer living with her husband Richard Williams, citing irreconcilable differences. They got divorced in 2002.
