Marlene Favela is a Mexican actress known for her role in TV shows like Zorro, La Espada y la Rosa, Pasión y poder, and many more.

Early Life:

Marlene Favela’s given born name is Silvia Marlene Favela Meraz.

Career Highlights:

Marlene Favela debuted her acting career in 1995 in the Television series “María José” and did “María Isabel” in 1997.

She made appearance in many telenovelas including Mujeres engañadas (1999), Por tu amor (1999), Infierno en el paraíso (1999), La casa en la playa (2000), DKDA: Sueños de juventud (2000), Carita de ángel (2000) and many more.

But she got her recognition after she was cast in the television show “Ugly Betty” in 2006.

In a lead role television series she has been part of Pasión y poder(2015-2016), La desalmada (2021), El amor invincible (2023), El maleficio(2023).

She also did movies in 2004 “Rubí”, 2007 “Species: The Awakening”, and 2008 “Playball”.

In the 2013 Billboard Mexican Music Awards, she presented awards and in 2022 she was featured in Revista Distrito magazine.

Apart from acting she is also the CEO and established many companies, such as Marlene Favela Store, Marlene Favela Fashion, and Boutique Bella Seely.

Personal Life and Relationships:

Marlene Favela’s father is Felipe Favela and her mother is Silvia Meraz de Favela. She has had 4 siblings Laura del Carmen born in 1970, Mabel born in 1971, Deborah born in 1991, and Alain unfortunately died.

She attended Centro de Educación Artística de Televisa majring in the Center of Arts Education.

Marlene was married to George Seely at a hacienda in San Juan del Rio, Querétaro, Mexico on December 12, 2017. They had a daughter named Bella Seely but unfortunately, they divorced in 2020.

Before marriage, she was in a relationship from 2009-2010 with businessman and politician Jorge Kahwagi.
