John Lee married Arlyn Sharon Dunetz on September 13, 1969, but unfortunately, they divorced in 1997.
They had five children River Phoenix born in 1970, Rain Phoenix born in 1972, Joaquin Phoenix born in 1974, Summer Phoenix born in 1978, and Liberty Phoenix born in 1976.
Unfortunately, he died in 2015 at the age of 68 because of cancer.
