Nate Diaz, Ryan Bourland, and Mike Perry (2023–2024)

He then defeated Nate Diaz by unanimous decision on August 5, 2023. He defeated Ryan Bourland on March 2, 2024, by TKO in the first round.

Paul ultimately defeated Mike Perry in six rounds via TKO. Perry struggled to hold up a defense against the young boxer. He fell a total of three times throughout, with Paul’s hard-hitting jabs leaving Perry bloodied.

The Biggest Night: Beating Mike Tyson (November 2024)

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson’s boxing match in November 2024 was streamed by 60 million households on Netflix.

Paul defeated Mike Tyson via unanimous decision on November 15, 2024, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Despite promising another flashy KO, Paul outstruck Iron Mike for eight two-minute rounds.

His bout with Mike Tyson was extremely lucrative, with multiple reports valuing his payout at around $40 million. It was the biggest night of his professional career — and the most-watched boxing event in streaming history.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (June 2025)

Paul was out of the ring for more than seven months before his next match — a 10-round unanimous decision win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on June 28, 2025. This improved his career pro record to 12-1.

Julio César Chávez Jr. had previously held the WBC middleweight title from 2011 to 2012 and is the son of legendary Mexican fighter Julio César Chávez Sr.

The Anthony Joshua Loss (December 2025)

Some six months later, Paul fought Anthony Joshua, who had once been a unified heavyweight champion. Paul was knocked out in the sixth round and suffered a broken jaw.

The match left Jake’s jaw broken into two pieces. He later confirmed he needed surgery, with two titanium plates installed. “A nice little a** whooping from one of the best to ever do it,” Paul said in his post-fight interview on Netflix — while spitting blood.

He was later required to have a second surgery in February 2026 when the screws and plates came loose.

Despite the devastating loss, the fight was still a massive commercial success. It was likely worth the broken jaw he suffered at the hands of Joshua. He was set for a payday estimated between $180 million and $267 million split between both fighters.

Paul founded Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) in 2021. He signed boxer Amanda Serrano to a deal. MVP has since become one of the most talked-about boxing promotion companies in the sport. It has also organized several of Jake’s own headline bouts, including the Netflix events.

Anti Fund Venture Capital (2021)
