British actor P.H. Moriarty is most known for his roles as tough guys and gangsters. He started acting later in life after spending a significant amount of time in several occupations, such as boxing and working on ships.

His cinematic career began when he was working in the latter position; a production team filming on the docks noticed him one day and requested him to act in their movie. The Long Good Friday, Jaws 3-D, Outland, Guy Ritchie’s debut feature picture Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, and Moriarty’s other films include (1981). Additionally, he has appeared in several British television shows and TV movies.
