Jorge Salinas’s born name is Jorge Salinas Pérez and his nickname is Jorgito.

Career Highlights:

Jorge Salinas debuted his acting career with the movie “Viva El Chubasco” in 1983 and “Dando y dando” in 1990.

After movie he debuted his telenovelas with “Cadenas de amargura” in 1991 and has appeared in telenovelas including “Valeria y Maximiliano” in 1991, “El abuelo y yo” in 1992, “Mágica juventud” in 1992, Dos mujeres, “un camino” in 1993, “María Isabel” in 1997, “¡Engañame!, si quieres” in 1998, and many more.

In 1992 he also did a short movie titled “Como cualquier noche” and in 2000 he was seen as a security guard in the movie “La hija del caníbal”.

He has portrayed the leading roles in telenovelas like “Tres mujeres” in 1999, “Mi Destino Eres Tú” in 2000, “Las Vías del Amor” in 2002, “Mariana de la Noche” in 2003, and “La Esposa Virgen in 2005.

As for telenovelas main role he did like “Te doy la vida” in 2020, “S.O.S me estoy enamorando” in 2021–2022,and “Perdona nuestros pecados” in 2023.

As of 2024, he has only done one telenovela “El ángel de Aurora” as the main role.

In 2000 he won Best Lead Actor for the “Tres mujeres” telenovela in TVyNovelas Awards and in 2019 Premios People en Español won Best Lead Actor and Best Couple with Ana Brenda Contreras.

Besides winning he has also been nominated for a lot of awards.

Personal Life and Relationships:

Jorge Salinas’s mother name is María Guadalupe Pérez Ocaña.

In 990 he attended Centro de Educación Artístico de Televisa (CEA) and graduated.

Jorge is married to Elizabeth Alvarez on October 15, 2011. They have twin children daughter named Máxima Salinas Álvarez and a son named León Salinas Álvarez born on December 2, 2015

He was previously married to Fátima Boggio in 1996 and had twin sons named Santiago Salinas Boggio and Jorge Emilio Salinas Boggio born in 2005 before they got divorced in 2009.

Before he got married he was also in a relationship with Adriana Cataño and had a daughter named Gabriella Cataño Salinas born on September 1995.

He also has a daughter with Andrea Noli named Valentina Noli born on September 9, 2006.
