Bülent Ulusoy

Bülent Ulusoy is a Turkish boxer well-known for winning the European title in 2000 at welterweight.
Early Life:
Bülent Ulusoy was born in Turkey and participated in the Olympics when he was 22 years old.
Career Highlights:
Bülent Ulusoy began his career in 2000 after he participated in and won the European title at welterweight with 67 kg, which was held in Tampere, Finland. The same year, he also participated in the 2000 Olympics, but unfortunately, he lost the quarterfinal to Vitalie Gruşac.
In the 2001 world championships at junior middleweight, Bülent competed and beat Jean Pascal but lost to Marian Simion by 19:20 points.
After he got first place at the 4th AIBA European 2004 Olympic Qualifying Tournament, which was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, he was qualified for the 2004 Summer Olympics. But during the Olympics in 2004, unfortunately, he lost to Sherzod Husanov in the men’s welterweight division.
Later in 2005, he won the Mediterranean Games but lost his first match in the European Championships 2006 against Russian boxer Andrey Balanov.
