Luvvie Ajayi

Luvvie Ajayi is an author, speaker, and digital strategist her book “I’m Judging You: The Do-Better Manual” was the best seller in the New York Times and was published with Henry Holt & Co. in September 2016.

Early Life:

Luvvie Ajayi was born in Nigeria but later when she was nine years old she moved with her family to Chicago, USA. Her full name is Luvvie Ajayi Jones and her born name is Ifeoluwa Ajayi.

Career Highlights:

Luvvie debuted her career in marketing and digital strategy and in 2013 she started blogging. In September 2016 she published her first book titled “I’m Judging You: The Do-Better Manual” which was the number five best seller in the New York Times and was published with Henry Holt & Co.

She did her first speaking event in 2016 on “The National Museum of African American History and Culture hosted” which was completely sold out and she was the first writer to do so.

In 2018 Luvvie released two podcasts “Jesus and Jollof” which were cohosted by Yvonne Orji and “Rants and Randomness with Luvvie Ajayi”.

Her other New York Times bestseller book was titled “Professional Troublemaker: A Fear Fighter Manual” which she released in 2021.

In 2022 she was selected to speak at two conferences “Public Library Association” and “American Library Association” in which she was the closing speaker.

Luvvie is also a member of “The International Academy of Digital Arts” and “Science in addition to Delta Sigma Theta”.

Personal Life and Relationships:

Luvvie Ajayi has posted her mother’s photo on her Instagram during Mother’s Day.

She attended High School at Whitney M. Young Magnet High School located in Chicago and attended her university through the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign which is located in Illinois, USA as a major in psychology.
