Ajayi was born in Nigeria. She moved from Nigeria to America at the age of nine.

The Red Pump Project (2009)

In 2009, Ajayi, along with Karyn Watkins, founded The Red Pump Project, a national nonprofit that raises awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and girls.
