Early Life:
Hari Kondabolu born name is Hari Karthikeya Kondabolu. In 1978, his parents moved to the United States from Tenali, the Coastal Andhra region of South India
Career Highlights:
Hari Kondabolu started taking part in the local alternative comedy scene. He said, “I used to read the U.S. citizenship application on stage as part of my act.
Hari debuted as Manoj Krishnamurthy in Manoj (Short) in 2007. He played the role of Jonathan Gold in The Food (TV Series) in 2009. In the following year, he was cast as Doctor McGillis in Dumb Professor (TV Series). In 2015, he gave the voice of the Narrator in Sugarless Tea (Short). Besides that, he was seen as Mr. Walia in Mira, Royal Detective (TV Series) in 2021. Kondabolu was cast as DJ Barry in South Side (TV Series) in 2022.
Apart from that, Hari is also the executive producer of many TV Series such as Manoj, The Problem with Apu, Hari Kondabolu: Warn Your Relatives, and From Here.
He was the winner of the GQ Men of the Year Award in 2018.
Personal Life and Relationships:
Hari Kondabolu is the younger son of Uma Kondabolu and Ravi Kondabolu. His mother had previously worked as a doctor in India, and both of his parents rose to become the heads of hospitals in New York state.
He has an older brother Ashok Kondabolu who is a former member of Das’s Racist group.
Hari enrolled at Bowdoin College and later he graduated from the London School of Economics in 2007.
