África Zavala

África Zavala is a Mexican telenovela actress known for “Natural Born Narco” in 2022, “La Teniente” in 2012, and “Lady of Steel” in 2014.

Early Life:

África Zavala full name is África Ivonne Lechuga Zavala. In 2004, she began her acting career as soon as she graduated from the Centro de Educación Artística of Televisa.

Career Highlights:

África Zavala was 21 years old when she debuted her career in the television series Peregrina alongside Eduardo Capetillo. In 2006, with José Ron and Jessica Coch, she co-starred in the telenovela “Código Postal”.

Later in 2009, she played a leading role act on the telenovela “Los Exitosos Perez” which was recorded in Australia with Ludwika Paleta and Jaime Camil.

In 2010, she played alongside Rebecca Jones, Nailea Norvind, Alejandra Barros, Sophie Alexander, and Zaide Silvia Gutiérrez in the telenovela “Para Volver a amar” as one of the six protagonists.

In the telenovela “Amorcito Corazón” by Lucero Suárez, in 2011, África was seen with Elizabeth Álvarez, Diego Olivera, and Daniel Arenas.

Later, she did the Mexican telenovela “La Malquerida” in 2014, and in 2015, she made her appearance in Amores con Trampa.

She is currently managed by Palomera Group.

Personal Life and Relationships:

África Zavala is married to Leon Peraza. They have been dating since 2018. They also have a son born in August 2020 named Leoncito.

She was also in a relationship with Alejandro Ibarra from 2006 to 2008, Jorge Coch in 2011, and Eduardo Yáñez from 2015 to 2018.

Talking about her educational qualifications, África graduated from Centro de Educación Artística of Televisa, which is a well-known entertainment educational institution in Mexico.
